Jess - it just sucks and I'm sorry you have to go through this, it will take as much time as it takes, but it will get better, just like the waves on the sea - sometimes crashing over you and dashing you on the rocks, other times swelling gently as you float on top.

And I am not sure, but it feels like you are grieving the loss of the baby and the change it made in your relationship as well. That's a double whammy, I know. Sending hugs and an open invite to crash and cry at my place in Orlando any time!

You will survive this. I just caught up on your blog and was horrified to hear about your struggles in the last couple of months. I am so, so sorry Jessica! I say that from the bottom of my heart. There are so many things I want to say to you. I have suffered 2 miscarriages and I do know the grief and sorrow associate with losing a baby. I just wish I was there to give you a giant hug and let you cry on my shoulder and to cry with you. And in regards to your "allowable" time for crying and sadness and grief...that is a load of crap. You are allowed all the time necessary. There are absolutely NO time constraints on the grieving process. And believe me when I say, that there will come times, many years down the road that a wave of sadness for your unborn child will hit you. You will think about how old they would be, how different your life would be had the pregnancy gone on as normal. Also know that the huge hole in your heart will eventually be filled with hope and healing. Just waking up every day and putting one foot in front of the other will keep you on the right track. The pain will dull. I promise, it will get better. I speak from experience and I wish you all the comfort and blessings you need at this difficult time!! God bless you.

I would so love to be there to hug you and tell you it's gonna be okay...or just hug you and say nothing while letting you cry. It sucks that you have to go thru this and I'm so sorry I can't be closer to you like we were before. It's so hard to watch my best friend have to endure this pain and there's nothin' I can do about it. I am mad that I can't be more accessible. I miss you lots, and I hope I can see you soon. I'm so sorry this has happened to you. Although, I don't know you personally and only know you through your blog and what I've gathered is that you are an incredibly strong woman and loving mother. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers through this tough time. Lean on your friends and family, they will carry you when you don't feel strong enough to carry yourself.

Wow Jessica. I had been wondering where you had been, and never would have guessed that this has been what has transpired. I don't know how you kept it in so long without writing about it- it was probably driving you crazy because you love blogging! :) A roller coaster ride, indeed. Wow. I don't even know what to say, but I'm glad you are "back" and able to talk about it.
