Olympic fun

So Mason and I were watching the Olympics tonight. We had watched a bunch last night but I made him go to bed before the women's gymnastics uneven bars, so we DVRed it. Tonight we went to go watch it but the DVR had recorded all 3 hours of Olympic coverage last night and the part we hadn't seen was the last 45 minutes, so we began to fast forward it. Volleyball...fast forward. Trampoline...wait....this is pretty funny! When you fast forward the DVR is just jumps ahead a few frames at a time, which is quite amusing when you are watching people jumping on a trampoline. But then it got better...men's gymnastics rings final. We were howling with laughter. I don't know why it was so funny, but it was just hilarious to watch these buff guys do their ring routine but with no continuity between positions. One second they are vertical, the next second horizontal, then the next second they are upside down. It was like watching a cartoon, and it was much more entertaining than watching another American gymnast's Olympic hopes dashed by poor judging.
